A mum-to-be came up with a Halloween surprise to tell her husband she was expecting a baby, after a year of trying to get pregnant.

The woman, called Leslie, bought a black T-shirt showing an image of a white human rib cage, before fixing an iron-on graphic of a smiling baby skeleton to the bottom of it.

She then waited for her husband to return to their home in Philadelphia before filming his fantastic reaction.

She later uploaded the video to YouTube, under the name 'Leslie A', explaining that she made a 'last minute decision' to surprise her husband with the top 'after trying nearly a year to have a baby'.

The video, which has been viewed more than 200,000 times, shows Leslie holding her arms across her chest as her husband enters the house.

She then takes his bag while at the same time revealing her spooky T-shirt, but he is too busy greeting their pet dogs to notice it.

Patting her husband on the back, Leslie finally says: "I think I've decided what I'm going to do for the Halloween costume party."

She then points to the T-shirt and says: "I'm going to wear a skeleton."

Leslie's husband stares at the shirt for several seconds, before pointing at the graphic of the baby skeleton.

Then Leslie confirms his silent suspicions by producing a positive pregnancy test.

The pair then burst into laughter and share a long, emotional hug.

Leslie explained: "He hugs me for what feels like forever."

Awww, sweet! Many congratulations to the happy couple.
