Imagine being able to go back in time and visit your parents when they were your age, would you have got on? Would you have laughed at the same things, hated the same foods?
Oregon-based artist Danielle Delph decided to pose that very question. In her photo series entitled 'If I Had Known My Mother Back Then' she photoshops herself into old photos of her mother when she was her age.
The beautifully touching series of photos took over six months to complete and show a mother and daughter on equal ground, reminding us that although we know they were once our age, it's sometimes difficult to actually accept it.

They made the same mistakes we made, whether it was drinking too much, having a wardrobe disaster or choosing singing loudly to what will later become known as 'cheesy music'.

Apparently when Delph showed her mother the finished album she was thrilled, talking to Today she said, "it made her cry, and she visits it everyday. She thinks we really would have been friends had we grown up together."
