‘Coronation Street’ star David Neilson has been spotted filming some emotional scenes in Manchester, as his character, Roy Cropper, prepares to scatter his late wife, Hayley’s ashes.
By the looks of things, Roy won’t be saying one final farewell to Hayley alone though, as the veteran actor was joined by Alan Halsall and Sam Aston, who play Tyrone Dobbs and Chesney Brown, respectively.

Earlier this year, ‘Corrie’ viewers saw Roy attempting to scatter his wife’s ashes on Blackpool beach, however the widower couldn’t bring himself to do it.
It’s been a tough year for Roy and sadly, the character is set for even more trouble when he is involved in an altercation with a gang of bullies.

Elsewhere on’t cobbles, there’s been plenty of drama and a number of the soap’s stars are currently filming dramatic minibus crash scenes which will be aired in the New Year.
While bosses are keen to keep details of the crash under wraps, it has been revealed that Steve will be behind the wheel, with a number of the Underworld factory staff as his passengers.
