Cheryl Fernandez-Versini leaving the X Factor? Surely not.
The glossy Geordie singer returned to the show after a four-year break this season, but has revealed that taking on her role as judge and mentor in 2015 is still up in the air.
After being asked about her return next year, Cheryl told The Daily Star, "That's a question Simon would have to ask me himself.
"Then I would have to talk about it because it's been very emotional," she added. "You get attached - you try not to but we're human at the end of the day. You can't help but feel the emotion. It's tough. You've probably seen us shrinking week on week."
All that mentoring clearly takes its toll. Cheryl's last act, Lauren Platt, was voted out over the weekend. This would have been a huge disappointment as the two had grown close over the weeks.
In other Chezza news, she put those rumours around her feud with Scary Spice to rest by revealing her favourite judge was "obviously Mel" in an interview on the Xtra Factor.
I"t's girl power isn't it?" Cheryl explained. "I don't think two girls have ever got on so well. Spice Aloud."
The two judges were criticised for failing to give Michael Bublé and Idina Menzel a standing ovation at the end of their performance during Sunday night's results show, but Cheryl put it down to avoiding a wardrobe malfunction.
"We applauded them but sometimes it's difficult with my dress. Sometimes you have to take beauty over disaster. Apart from that we were having a really emotional conversation," she said.
