‘The Only Way Is Essex’ cast member Ferne McCann was rushed to hospital on Tuesday afternoon, when she collapsed while at the gym.

According to The Mirror, Ferne had been out with her boyfriend, fellow ‘TOWIE’ star Charlie Sims, and her mum, when she suddenly hit the floor and appeared to have a seizure.
A source told the newspaper: “Ferne had been at her gym in Essex with her boyfriend and mum, Gilly. After a swim, they had got in the Jacuzzi. Ferne felt dizzy so got out and then collapsed, hitting her head as well as banging her arm – and she’s badly injured her hip.

“Then she started having a fit. It was terrifying for Charlie and Gilly to watch.”
The reality star is now said to be recovering from the incident with Charlie at her home, though it’s claimed she’s still feeling the effects of her sudden collapse.

“Everyone is worried about her,” the source went on to say. “Ferne still feels woozy and is really shaken. The doctor has advised her to take it easy. She’s resting at home and Charlie is refusing to leave her side.”
Ferne and her mum are currently in training to run a half-marathon later this year.
She first rose to prominence when she joined the cast of ‘TOWIE’ in 2013, and is known for her rocky relationship with Charlie, as well as her feuds with fellow cast members like Charlie’s sister, Chloe Sims, and Gemma Collins.
