Is This The Secret To Healthy Nails?

As one of the first brands to launch a BB cream for our nails, it was only a matter of time before Eve Snow created a nourishing CC base coat.

Eve Snow

The British nail brand, set up by beauty entrepreneur Yvette Snowden, has created a colour-correcting formula made with active ingredients including moisturising Marula Oil and B12 complex to keep nails looking and feeling their best.

The product been designed to conceal imperfections such as staining, ridges and white marks, while adding shine and strength thanks to added extra Jojoba Oil plus vitamins A and E.

Good news if you're embracing the no nail polish look this season, too - this base coat is perfect for wearing alone for a natural-looking finish.

Best of all? Eve Snow's collection is made in England and many of the usual toxic ingredients found in the brand's nail products have been removed.

"Unlike a lot of nail brands, we don't just focus on taking toxins out of the nail lacquer, but also on what we're putting back in," founder Yvette told us when she launched the brand in 2014. "We have taken several toxins out of formula such as DBP and Formaldehyde but we have also put in a trio of nourishing ingredients: Ginkgo Biloba, Argan Oil and Vitamin E."

Eve Snow's CC base coat is £15, available from January 2015 at www.boots.com and www.evesnow.com. (And look out for the Spring/Summer 2015 range on Net-a-Porter.com from February.)
