I'm telling you, an item of suede is the ultimate investment this summer.
Texture is everything and suede is how to make your outfit look put-together but in that sexy, undone sort of way (last night's make up, bed hair, scowl) and it nods to the 1970s trend in a big way.
Here are six looks from the Spring/Summer 2015 catwalks for a heads up on how to do this trend.

1. Suede on suede.
Sounds like a no, no - but with the right separates in the right colours this look is golden. Especially when you've got a bit of a sun-kissed glow about you.
See the S/S 2015 Derek Lam catwalk for outfit inspiration: trench coats, cut-out dresses, tunic tops and knee-length skirts in soft patchwork suedes with a clunky platform is how to do hippy-cool.
Do it in lavender or anything pastel.

2. The statement coat.
