Benedict Cumberbatch has married his pregnant fiancé Sophie Hunter in a "magical" wedding on the Isle of Wight. Sorry, ladies.
A spokesman for the actor confirmed the news, saying, "Benedict and Sophie were married yesterday surrounded by their close friends and family. It was a magical day."
The ceremony took place at the 12th century St Peter & St Paul Church, near Brighstone, with Ms Hunter arriving at around 3.20pm in a traditional white wedding dress.
Guests at the intimate event for family and friends included Benedict's Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman and his War Horse co-star Tom Hiddleston, reports the BBC.
The Frank Sinatra hit 'My Funny Valentine' was played during the service, and the couple left in a blue vintage Jaguar, according to reports.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds headed over the road for a reception at Mottistone Manor, a Grade II listed building owned by the National Trust, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Sophie, 36, first met Cumberbatch, 38, when they starred together in the 2009 film Burlesque Fairytales.
The couple stylishly announced their engagement in a notice in The Times newspaper in November.
It is thought the newlyweds will enjoy a mini honeymoon on the island before jetting off to LA for the Academy Awards.
Benedict is nominated for an Oscar for his role as mathematician and Second World War codebreaker Alan Turing in The Imitation Game.
Congrats and good luck!
