Noel Gallagher says he wouldn't have 'chosen' modelling for his 'super-cool' 15-year-old daughter Anais.
Last month, the teenager featured in a campaign for high street chain Accessorize and has a contract with Select Models as well as co-hosting the CBBC show The Friday Download.
But the former Oasis star – who split with Anais's mum Meg Matthews when she was a baby - told the Telegraph: "Because I've never lived with her, I don't really want to be the kind of dad that's laying down the law.
"She really is into it. And she's got a little TV thing going.
"It's not something I would have chosen for her, but it's been allowed to happen. You've got to support them haven't you? I don't see any harm in it. She's a pretty bright girl."
He added: "Anais, I've got to say, is fiercely independent and she's super-cool and I don't have any worried about her whatsoever. She's very much got her head screwed on."
Noel and Meg divorced in 2001 before he married his second wife, Scottish publicist Sara MacDonald – 11 years after their first meeting at Space nightclub in Ibiza.
They now have sons Donovan, seven, and four year old Patrick together.
The 47-year-old dad revealed that Sara frequently scolds him for being undomesticated.
He said: "She'll always pick stuff out of the sink and go, 'There is a dishwasher here'.
"Sara would be shouting, saying, 'Can you not do anything?' and I say, 'Can you play the guitar? No, you can't, thank you very much, jog on'.
"No, I think I'm all right to live with. I hope I am. Well, she's been living with me for 15 years, so I'd hope so."
