Patricia Arquette stormed the stage to accept the Oscar award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boyhood on Sunday night in Hollywood.
As far as acceptance speeches go, it had everything: nerves, thanks to loved ones and a huge shout out for equal pay rights for women everywhere.
You have to see this...
That's what every star-studded awards ceremony needs, a whole lot of feminism.
Let's just say Patricia knows her audience too, because Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez were LOVING it. As were we.
After reeling off a long list of names Patricia went full-blown heroine on us and addressed the gender pay gap issue.
"To every woman who gave birth, to every tax payer and every citizen of this nation, we have fought for everyone else's equal rights," said. "It's our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights for women in the United States of America".
Cue Meryl getting up in her seat and putting her hands together hollering out "Yes, yes!"
And it wasn't just Meryl and J-Lo who were feeling it. The entire audience went into total frenzy applauding Patricia's nod to feminism.
