1970s-inspired style might be a major fashion story this spring, but Christopher Bailey's latest Burberry collection suggests the trend is here to stay.
As supermodels Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell sung along to the show's 70s soundtrack including 'House Of The Rising Sun' and 'My Sweet Lord' with Sam Smith on the front row, the message was clear - it's time to embrace your inner folk rock star.
The colour palette was warm - tan, mauve, burgundy and navy - while eclectic floral prints mixed with patchwork and fringing were seen on shearling jackets, maxi dresses, capes and the brand's famous trench coats.
Of course, outerwear was dominant in this Autumn/Winter 2015 collection and the Burberry girl will be wrapping up in fur this winter. (Ms. Moss had her eye on this particular look below.)
Thigh-high boots, bucket bags in suede and leopard print plus tortoiseshell sunglasses completed each look and after the success of the blankets last winter, the brand introduced its new must-have accessory for the season ahead - monogrammed scarves in Burberry's signature check print.
