The world of smartphones will be transformed next week in Barcelona when Samsung, HTC, Huawei and others announce their new flagship handsets.
Or at least it would have been, if those same handsets hadn't already been leaked from almost every angle on the internet.
The latest to fall into the public gaze is the new HTC One M9, which has been revealed in a series of prematurely published images and videos which leave literally nothing to the imagination. The leak joins that of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and others which have already been shown off -- also unofficially -- in various planned and unplanned reveals.
The videos showing off the new HTC flagship have now been removed from YouTube but various copies are still available to watch here:
The videos confirm that the phone is outwardly very similar to the M8, but with reconfigured hardware buttons. It also looks set to have a new home screen which adjusts automatically to your location, updated processors and cameras, improved BoomSound external speakers and other upgrades.
All will be (officially) unveiled at MWC next week.
