From someone who hopes to be named Celebrity Mum of the Year, Katie Hopkins has a strange way of courting popularity.
The motormouth mother – who was rather smug about her nomination – took to Twitter to attack mums breastfeeding their babies in Costa and 'refuelling their tits'.
The mum-of-three wrote: "I'd like to say to all lactating mums sat in Costa refuelling their tits you don't have to believe breast is best to be #celebmumoftheyear!"
She then attacked the National Childbirth Trust, saying:
Of course, it isn't the first time the Celebrity Big Brother and Apprentice star has spewed her venom at mums who breastfeed in public.
In December, 100 mothers staged a protest at Claridge's in London after a mother was told to cover up while nursing her baby in the Mayfair hotel.
Ahead of the Free to feed demonstration, Katie tweeted her support...to the hotel!
She wrote: "Free to feed protest tomorrow. Expect the mammary militia out in force. Stand firm @ClaridgesHotel. Their sort shouldn't be free to breed.
"Women have the right to breast feed. But they don't have the right to put everyone else off having milk in their tea. Put it away girls."
Earlier this week, the Celebrity Mum of the Year shortlist was revealed with Katie Price and Katie Hopkins going head-to-head again – with another Katie – Katie Piper – thrown in for good measure!
Katie Price, who is a mum of five to Harvey, Junior, Princess Tiaamii, Jett and new baby Bunny will be competing for her third title as Mum of the Year, but mother-of-three Katie Hopkins – mum to India, Poppy and Maximillan - is a surprise contender because of her no-holds- barred views about other parents.
The other contenders are mum-to-be Abbey Clancy, X Factor winner Sam Bailey, TOWIE star Billie Faiers, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, The Voice co-host Emma Willis, Kimberley Walsh, from Girls Aloud, and The Saturdays' Frankie Bridge.
