Man 'Has Sex 118 Times' After Posting Adverts For A Girlfriend

Finding 'The One' is never easy, especially in a huge city like New York.

So 51-year-old Dan Perino decided to advertise for a girlfriend, by leaving posters around the city with his phone number underneath on tear off strips.

The adverts gained more attention than the actor and web designer ever expected.

Just six months after posting the first advert, Perino claims to have had sex with 118 women thanks to his endeavor.

“I’ve had hook-ups with 118 girls, but the dating is a lot more than that," he told

And by 'hook-ups', Perino explains he means one thing: "sex".

The poster message reads: "I’m really looking for a girlfriend. This is not a joke. Just tired of the singles scene and hoping to meet the right person.

"I am a professional artist and creative person. You know who you are. To me each and every person is beautiful. Open to the possibility of the relationship morphing into something more profound."

On Twitter, Perino has admitted he hasn't had much luck with the ladies in the past.

"I couldn't get laid back in high school. So to the girls I wanted to hook up with then. Are coming out of the woodwork. No you are to old," he wrote.

But after CBS News reported on his quest for a girlfriend, he turned into a local, then national celebrity.

“I was getting 200-300 calls per day. I couldn’t get back to everybody, it was difficult. I’ve got back to everybody by now, there’s been over 8000 phone calls," he added in the interview.

Perino said he wants to meet a women between the ages of 25-37 because he wants to start a family, but women in their late 50s keep contacting him.

He's posted a picture on Twitter, which shows two of the women he claims to have dated.

Despite talking openly about his sex-life, Perino says that the aim of his adverts is still to find "a more meaningful relationship.”

Watch out ladies, he's not planning to give up any time soon.
