Victoria Beckham Does Gothic-Glam Makeup For Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Gala

It was a star-studded night at the V&A-hosted gala dinner to celebrate the upcoming Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition. But Victoria Beckham still managed to ensure all eyes were trained on her - by arriving in a figure-forming frock and dramatically heavy eye makeup.

The fashion designer, of course, wore one of her own creations, a custom-made laser-cut black strapless number, which visibly boosted her curves, and wore her hair down with a slight backcomb.

But what particularly drew attention to the star was her bold, Gothic-glam makeup, which was a total departure from her usually-natural look.

VB worked dark eyeshadow all the way up to her eyebrows, which was also applied to the lower lid. She also donned extra-long false lashes and strong blush with pale lips, apparently releasing her inner rock chick.

Vic was accompanied by hubby David Beckham, who was dapper as usual in a tailored navy suit and bow tie. According to the Daily Mail, Victoria is great friends with Alexander McQueen's top designer, Sarah Burton, who designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress back in 2011.
