The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are only weeks away from welcoming their second baby, so it's no real surprise to hear they're recruiting an extra pair of hands.

William and Kate, who is eight months pregnant, have placed an advert for a housekeeper at their Norfolk home Anmer Hall, reports People.

The ad, published in The Lady magazine, asks for "someone with previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a large private house, and preferably within a family environment with dogs".

Duties will include "cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners' clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with deliveries."

The hours? Monday to Friday, although the housekeeper will be expected to work some weekends. They will be provided with "self-contained accommodation" that can comfortably house a couple and will occasionally be asked to prepare meals and help out with childcare.

Royal couple fanatics should note, "discretion and loyalty is paramount".

The advert comes after it was reported Kate was looking to hire a maternity nurse ahead of her baby's arrival in April.

The royals already employ Antonella Fresolone, a full-time housekeeper, to look after their London home at Kensington Palace.
