While they resolved to get through saying goodbye to Stan without any drama, Shirley decides enough is enough, and announced that she no longer wants to run the pub with her son and his wife.
In typical Carter fashion, Shirl makes a rash decision and plonks the pub’s licensee plate on the bar, before promptly sawing it in half. Oh, Shirl.

Earlier this week, Linda attempted to confront Dean over his attack on her, which has been slowly tearing the family apart for months.
However, as Dean appeared to be on the verge of confessing, Shirley stormed in and halted the conversation.
