The Met Ball Gala is always one of the greatest fash-offs of the year and this year’s event proved to be no different.
And leading the pack were Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian who both rocked up to the China-themed event in New York wearing eye-popping embellished dresses.

Both stars left just about enough to the imagination in floor-length embellished gowns, which showed off their famous curves - and quite a lot else.
Beyoncé pipped Kim to the post in the flesh-flashing stakes in a beautiful Givency gown, which was studded with colourful jewels.
The jury’s still out on that Croydon facelift up-do though.

Meanwhile, Kim looked stunning in a Roberto Cavalli creation, and managed to keep it classy despite showing off a lot of flesh.
Kim's hubby Kanye opted for a velvet suit and no shirt, which he accessorised with his standard moody pout.
The guest-list of the annual event read like a who’s-who of showbiz with the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence, Sarah Jessica Parker and George Clooney all in attendance.
