It’s official, Swifties - the ‘1989’ world tour has begun!
Taylor Swift kicked off her latest jaunt around the world in style in Tokyo, performing all the big hits from her latest album, with a few golden oldies thrown in.

The singer was looking every inch the pop princess for the occasion, sporting an ‘80s-inspired sparkly crop top and purple skater skirt.
At present, the ‘1989’ tour consists of a whopping 78 dates in eight months, and includes a handful of gigs in the UK.

Taylor’s tour officially arrives in Blighty this June, however fans lucky enough to have nabbed tickets to Radio 1’s Big Weekend can have a sneak peek at the star’s new show in May.

Ahead of her Wednesday night Japan gig, Taylor caused havoc when she arrived in Tokyo, thanks to the hundreds of fans who were at the airport waiting to greet her.
TMZ reports that the commotion and congestion even resulted in a series of flight delays.
