Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Will Feature Male And Female Protagonists

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Will Have Two Lead Characters

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be the official title of the next instalment in the hugely-popular video game series according to leaked marketing material.

According to Kotaku, gamers will play as brother/sister duo Jacob and Evie Frye. If the rumours are true it'll be the first Assassin's Creed game that allows you to choose between playing either a man or a women.

It won't however be the first time the game series featured a female lead character - Assassin's Creed: Liberation followed the life of Aveline de Grandpré in New Orleans.

Syndicate will reportedly "transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they'll have to see to believe."

The countdown has begun for the new Assassin's Creed game after Ubisoft officially uploaded a countdown trailer for a major unveiling on 12 May.

Giving little hint to the plot of the game, the trailer does however state that Ubisoft will be holding a world premiere reveal live at 5PM BST.

Very little is know about the next major instalment in the Assassin's Creed series other than the small pieces of information that have been leaked in the last 12 months.

We believe that it will be called Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and that if the leaked screenshots are anything to go on, that it'll be set predominantly in London, England.

The game appears to be set during Victorian England and will feature an all-new protagonist. Judging by the quality of the graphics, the game will almost certainly be an exclusive for Xbox One and PS4.
