'Big Brother' 2015 Contestant Eileen Daly's 'X Factor' Audition Was One Of The Most Bizarre Ever (VIDEO)

Relive This 'Big Brother' Contestant's Bizarre 'X Factor' Audition

The new ‘Big Brother’ housemates were unveiled over the weekend, ahead of the series launch on Tuesday night, and among the line-up are one or two familiar faces.

One of the housemates, Eileen Daly, describes herself as a film director and musician in her official bio, but what she neglects to mention is that she’s also a former ‘X Factor’ contestant.

True, she never quite progressed through to the ranks of Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke (or even Jedward or Wagner), but ‘X Factor’ fans with a good memory might recall Eileen’s audition from last year’s series of the singing competition.

Eileen and her partner, under their band name The Courtesans, made it through the first stage of the competition to perform in front of the crowd at Wembley Arena for the second round of auditions, where they sang a re-imagined version of the Tom Jones hit ‘Delilah’.

Eileen and her partner rock out

Despite raising a seldom-seen grin from Simon Cowell, Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini seemed less convinced, and the duo were notably absent when boot camp rolled around.

Watch their interesting audition for yourself below:

As if that wasn't enough, Eileen's colourful CV also includes "hardcore vampire sex films" which she both directed and started in back in the 1990s, with titles including 'Cradle Of Fear' and 'Electric Blue: Suburban Wives 7', which doesn't exactly sound like a heartwarming treat the whole family can enjoy, does it?

Eileen isn’t the only of this year’s contestants with a reality TV past, though, with fellow housemate Amy Broadbent previously making a short appearance in ‘TOWIE’ to reveal that she’d been secretly sleeping with Mario Falcone.

Admittedly this doesn’t exactly make Eileen and Amy reality TV veterans, but surely it makes them just as qualified for the celebrity version of the show as Chloe Goodman and Cami-Li..?

‘Big Brother: Timebomb’ launches on Tuesday night at 9pm on Channel 5.
