Things are set to go from bad to worse for Laurel in ‘Emmerdale’, as her alcohol addiction continues to dictate her life.
Charlotte Bellamy’s character has been on a downward spiral for months, and her alcohol issues have already resulted in a number of terrible incidents.
However, things are set to worsen for Laurel, when her husband Marlon chucks her out of their family home.
After having her card declined in The Woolpack, a desperate Laurel raids her son’s money box, and heads into town to drink alone.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Charlotte explains: “There are two men there who chat her up. The first one is a bit of a slimeball, and the other fella seemingly comes to her rescue. But as it turns out, it’s the other way round.”
Laurel realises what's happened
A horrified Laurel then wakes up in the stranger’s bed the next day, and despite doing her best to keep what’s happened a secret, Marlon discovers his wife’s dirty deed.
Will Laurel finally get help?
