Belgium police have confirmed one person has died after a bus crashed carrying 34 children.
The spokesman for police in Middelkerke, in West Flanders, confirmed 42 British people had been in the crash.
He said one person had been killed so far, but did not confirm their identity.
The Mayor of the town will be holding a press conference at 12.45pm local time.
A spokesman from Richmond Coaches of Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, in Northern Ireland confirmed that one of its vehicles had been involved in the crash.
He also said the bus had been hired by an English school group.
