Novak Djokovic was crowned Wimbledon champion today, beating Roger Federer in front of a star-studded crowd.
The 28-year-old Serbian won in four sets to take his third SW19 title - matching coach Boris Becker's impressive Wimbledon record.
He screamed in delight and pumped his arms after winning his first match point, before eating some of the hallowed Centre Court grass.
Hollywood stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Bradley Cooper and Hugh Grant were in the Royal Box to watch the highly-anticipated men's final.
But Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton set tongues wagging after he appeared not to take up his seat in the Royal Box.
A Wimbledon spokesman confirmed that the driver had left before the match was over but would not comment on why.
With the match at 4-3 in the fourth set, the spokesman said: "He did come but he has gone. We are not commenting further."
Earlier in the day the racing star posted a picture on Instagram showing his Royal Box invitation package.
Federer, 33, saw his hopes of a record eighth Wimbledon title dashed by number one seed Djokovic. The Swiss star was also seeking to become the oldest man to win the men's title.
