Motorcyclist Injured In Wall Of Death Carnival Accident

A motorcyclist is in hospital after an accident on a wall of death carnival show.

The man aged in his 30s suffered a suspected fractured skull and broken collarbone in the accident in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, this afternoon, East of England Ambulance Service said.

He is being treated at the town's James Paget University Hospital after the incident at around 2.15pm, the spokesman said.

The Gorleston Clifftop Festival is currently taking place in the town, featuring the Cornwall-based Ken Fox Troupe Wall of Death.

A wall of death sees motorcyclists use gravity and high speed to allow them to ride around the vertical inside wall of a cylinder.
