Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a fight, police have said.
The two males, aged 15 and 16, were arrested last night after attending a south London police station. Both remain in custody.
Police were called to reports of a fight at a block of flats in Brockley, south-east London, on Thursday evening, and found two males suffering from stab injuries.
The victim, who has been named by police as Shaquan Mario Fearon, died shortly after arriving at hospital, while the other male, also 17, was treated and has since been discharged.
A post-mortem examination yesterday found that Shaquan had died from a stab wound to the leg.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack. Detective chief inspector Will Reynolds, of the homicide and major crime command, said: "Our initial inquiries have established that there were several people in the area at the time Shaquan was attacked.
"We have had a positive response from the local community but I would urge anyone who saw this incident and has yet to come forward, please contact my team."
