Demi Lovato Reckons She Was Joking In THAT Viral Mug Video. We're Having Trouble Believing Her

Demi Lovato's Defence Of THAT Mug Video Is Ridiculous

Demi Lovato sent Twitter into meltdown over the weekend, when a video of her misunderstanding an interviewer’s question about her “favourite dish” went viral, but now she’s tried to claim she was in on the joke all along.

The clip saw the ‘Cool For The Summer’ singer being quizzed by a German radio DJ, who asked what her favourite dish was, only for her to reply: “I like mugs. They're very comfortable in your hand and they hold hot things that you don't have to touch. So, you know, coffee... or hot tea."

But rather than hold her hands up and laugh along with her faux pas, Demi has now done the equivalent of a massive eye roll at fans who laughed at and shared the video online.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “For anybody who actually thinks I misunderstood the "favorite dish" question - you clearly don't get my sense of humor.”

She then added an unimpressed emoji, along with a mug.

Blimey, someone really needs to lighten up.

Demi has been touring the globe promoting her new album ‘Confident’, and while in the UK last week, she filmed an interview with Alan Carr, where she opened up about her sexuality.

The former Disney star and ‘X Factor USA’ judge appeared to admit that she’d experimented with women in the past.

When the chat show host asked Demi if the lyrics in new single ‘Cool For The Summer’ related to her being intimate with a woman, she replied: “I’m not confirming and I’m definitely not denying,

“All of my songs are based off of personal experiences... I don’t think there is anything wrong with experimentation at all... [I'm not saying] it didn’t stick either,” she said.
