The couple accused of murdering Becky Watts are seen in CCTV images allegedly shopping for items to wrap the teenager's dismembered body.
Nathan Matthews, 28, and his girlfriend, Shauna Hoare, 21, are accused of killing the 16-year-old in a sexually motivated kidnap plot on February 19.
Bristol Crown Court has heard the pair targeted 5ft 1ins Becky - the stepsister of Matthews - due to their shared unnatural interest in petite teenage girls.
They allegedly murdered Becky in her bedroom at her family home in Crown Hill, Bristol, before driving her body to their home in Cotton Mill Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol.
Prosecutors say the couple dismembered Becky in the bath of the terraced property using a circular saw, before packing her body parts in bags, cling film and tape.
These were discovered in suitcases, bags and a blue box in a garden shed in Barton Court - 80 metres from their home - in the early hours of March 3.
CCTV images show Matthews and Hoare shopping for cleaning products, tape, bags and cling film in the days following Becky's death.
On February 21, they are seen spending £98.96 at Asda in Bedminster, Bristol, buying groceries including frozen and tinned foods and two boxes of Cheerios cereal.
Their shopping also includes 14 "household" products - totalling £39 - such as blue "Asda extra strong DIY rubble sacks" and cleaning products.
They buy black bags, rubber gloves, bleach and three rolls of cling film as part of the shop, which is paid for at a self checkout machine.
At 12.18pm the following day, the pair are seen entering the 99p store in Bristol to buy more rubble sacks, duct tape and heavy duty sponge.
In police interviews after her arrest, Hoare sobs as she claims she believed the items were for Matthews to tidy up their cluttered home.
She said she was "appalled, disgusted, outrageously angry" at learning her boyfriend had confessed to killing and dismembering Becky.
Hoare claimed Matthews, her boyfriend of six years, was controlling and she had a "dream" he would fall in love with someone else and leave her.
The couple both went to Becky's home on February 19 and Matthews insists he killed Becky in her bedroom while Hoare was smoking in the garden.
The jury previously heard Matthews, who claims he killed Becky accidentally after trying to kidnap her to scare her, wanted to return a borrowed cake tin to his grandmother, who was due to drop his mother back at the property.
"He has been aggressive and violent to me but I never thought he would get annoyed enough or lose his mind enough to do something to do that," Hoare said.
"With the intention to just scare her like that it is so twisted and wrong, I don't understand any of it like his logic, his theory.
"How could he not think that if I found out or if anyone found out he wouldn't be screwed? I couldn't live in a house knowing that he had viciously killed someone.
"You can imagine the suffering she went through, how scared and to imagine I was round there. If I hadn't found the tin we wouldn't have gone over, she would be happily living her life.
"To know that if I had pushed him one day it could have been me. I just don't understand any of it.
"There is still a part of me that does care for him but it is more anger and disgust that he has taken, that he has done that.
"The fact he has no concern for anyone whatsoever. He is sick, physically sick."
Hoare said her boyfriend did not like his stepsister due to the way she treated his mother, Anjie Galsworthy, who has progressive MS.
"I didn't ever think it annoyed him to an extreme extent," she added.
"To my knowledge she has never done anything to him or to Anjie or to anyone that to his twisted mind justified him wanting to scare her."
She described feeling like a "child" in her relationship with Matthews and said he controlled her money and what she ate.
"One way or another it was like I was going to be stuck like this forever. Never be able to go out, do anything," she told police.
"I had a dream that one day he would meet someone else, fall in love and leave."
Matthews, of Hazelbury Drive, Warmley, South Gloucestershire, denies murder and conspiracy to kidnap.
He admits killing Becky, perverting the course of justice, preventing the burial of a corpse and possessing a prohibited weapon.
Hoare, of Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol, denies murder, conspiracy to kidnap, perverting the course of justice, preventing burial of a corpse and possessing a prohibited weapon.
The residents of the Barton Court property, Karl Demetrius, 30, and his partner Jaydene Parsons, 23, admit assisting an offender.
Donovan Demetrius – Karl's twin brother – of Marsh Lane, Bristol, and James Ireland, 23, of Richmond Villas, Avonmouth – a work colleague of Karl's – deny the charge.
The trial was adjourned.
