Night At The Museum For Kate As She Attends Charity Gala Dinner

The Duchess of Cambridge had a second night out in a row as she dined with around 200 women at a gala in aid of a children's charity.

The annual 100 Women in Hedge Funds (100WHF) event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London raised money for The Art Room, a national charity offering art as therapy to children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Kate, who is patron of both 100WHF and The Art Room, wore a patterned floral dress by Erdem with her hair worn loose over her shoulders.

The Duchess dazzled in a blue Jenny Packham gown on Monday night at the premiere of James Bond film Spectre at the Royal Albert Hall.

Tonight she mingled with top businesswomen who were all dressed in glamorous evening gowns for the black tie event.

When she arrived, she posed in front of a bank of photographers with Amanda Pullinger and Mimi Drake from 100WHF.

They all had dinner at tables decorated with candles and floral arrangements packed with pink and purple blossoms and red roses.

Artist Grayson Perry, who is also a patron of The Art Room, was at the glitzy event and wore a dramatic sparkling outfit.

Kate presented the 100WHF 2015 European Industry Leadership Award at the dinner in the museum's Raphael Gallery.

Elizabeth Corley, chief executive of Allianz Global Investors, received the accolade in recognition of her example and advocacy of mentorship for future leaders of the industry.

100WHF is a non-profit organisation for professionals in the alternative investments industry.

Its board of directors selects a charitable organisation for its philanthropic initiative on a rotating basis from women's and family health, mentoring and education programmes.

The Duke of Cambridge became patron of 100WHF Philanthropic Initiatives in 2009 and, in 2012, Kate and Prince Harry joined him to become patrons for an additional three years.

Starting in January 2013, 100WHF committed to focusing its UK philanthropic endeavours on three chosen charities, one for each year of the partnership.

The charities - Action On Addiction in 2013, WellChild in 2014, and The Art Room in 2015 - are part of The Charities Forum of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
