Darren - who first shot to fame in London’s West End, before becoming a tabloid staple for his turbulent personal life - has reportedly signed up for the new series of ‘CBB’, which kicks off next month.
A source tells The Sun: “Darren's telly dynamite and producers think that viewers will love to hate him.”
In addition to his TV and theatre work, Darren became well-known for a string of high-profile relationships with stars like of Suzanne Shaw, Anna Friel and former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Tracy Shaw.
After admitting to having suffered from an addiction to cocaine, he was also branded a “love rat” by the media, due to the infidelities that ended several of his famous relationships.
Also slated to be joining Darren in the ‘CBB’ house in January are ‘Geordie Shore’ hunk Scott Timlin - who is no doubt hoping to follow on from Vicky Pattison’s ‘I’m A Celeb’ victory this weekend - and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ champion, Bianca Del Rio.

Following on from Michelle Visage’s success in this year’s first series of ‘CBB’, The Mirror have claimed that Bianca - real name Roy Haylock - is “at the top of everyone's wishlist's for next year's show”, and "could be heading into the house after wowing viewers" of 'Bit On The Side' earlier this year.
