Neil Fox To Hear Verdicts In Sexual Assaults Trial

Magistrates in the sex crime trial of radio DJ Neil Fox are due to return their verdicts.

The suspended Capital FM host and former Pop Idol judge faces a string of indecent assault and sexual assault charges in relation to alleged offences that date back to the 1980s, against women and girls as young as 14.

The 54-year-old will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court, where the alleged victims, who were fans and former colleagues, gave evidence against the star.

Chief trial magistrate Howard Riddle said the bench had "a lot to consider" after hearing closing submissions on December 4.

Fox, who lives in Fulham, west London, with his wife and three children, denies eight counts of indecent assault and two of sexual assault dating from 1988 to 2014.
