Sir Richard Branson is building a wind farm on Necker - the luxury island he lives on with his wife Joan.
The 65-year-old business tycoon decided to convert the British Virgin Island in the Caribbean sea into "one of the most environmentally-friendly residences in the world" after a fire destroyed his house in 2011.
He told The Sunday Times Style: "We are building windmills, along with hydrogen storage, so we can utilise the energy of excess wind - no pun intended."
Branson and his wife moved to the island permanently in 2006 to look after their health and quality of life - although the Virgin boss still travels for work. And up to 34 guests can book the exclusive resort for more than £52,000 a night according to 2016 prices.
Detailing what he gets up to each day on Necker Island, Branson revealed he swims around the island every morning and sometimes sees sharks, plays tennis "without fail" and dances every night.
He added: "Every night's a party night here and there will always be dancing.
"I've learnt to sneak off without being noticed, but it's rarely before midnight. I'm lucky that I can get by on five or six hours' sleep. I might not get much, but when I do, I sleep well."
