Arsenal have completed the signing Mohamed Elneny from Basel to bolster their depleted midfield.
Arsene Wenger confirmed the news last night after Wednesday's 3-3 draw with Liverpool at Anfield. "He has joined us and we will see if he can qualify for Sunday."
The Egyptian international who has played 39 times for his country scoring three goals. Arsene Wenger turned his attentions to Elneny after various injuries to his midfield.
With Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin all out through long term injuries, Arsenal need urgent reinforcements and Mohamed Elneny fits the bill.
It's thought that Elneny has signed on a four-and-a-half year contract and a fee believed to be in the region of £5m.
