'Celebrity Big Brother': Megan McKenna Was Addressing Anger Management Problem Before Entering 'CBB' House

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate Megan McKenna was seeking help for anger management, shortly before she took part in the show.

Over the past few days, viewers have seen Megan losing her temper in a series of meltdowns, including an outburst in Thursday night’s episode that saw security entering the house.

As anyone who’s seen Megan’s previous appearances on ‘Ex On The Beach’ will know, epic tantrums aren’t exactly out of character for Megan, with her representative confirming that she was looking into anger management shortly before ‘CBB’ began.

Her spokesperson told The Mirror: “Megan knows anger management is a problem for her and she was already taking positive steps to address this before going into the 'CBB' house, with her first session due to take place just before the new year.

“Unfortunately this had to be moved due to her heavy workload.”

Megan’s rep also took the opportunity to defend the reality star, claiming her outburst would not have been quite so dramatic had she not been “plied with alcohol” on a near-empty stomach.

They added: “Megan had not eaten anything, she then consumed too much alcohol which triggered her anger about the state of the house and her attempts to defend other housemates.

“Whilst Megan was making valid points about John and his behaviour, there is no doubt she wouldn't have reacted so emotionally had she not been starved and then plied with alcohol.”

Megan has since been met with racism accusations from some viewers, after she furiously branded housemate Tiffany Pollard a “ghetto c**t” during her meltdown.

‘CBB’ continues on Friday night, at 9pm on Channel 5.
