The youngster rose to fame when he won ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ back in 2008, and he’s now set for a guest appearance on the show.
While bosses are yet to reveal details of his character, George has shared his excitement, stating: “I'm really excited to play a guest part in ‘Emmerdale’.
“The cast and crew have been really friendly, and the village is a spectacular place to be.
"It's such an iconic show and it's brilliant to be able to be a part of it."
This isn’t George’s first acting role as back in 2011, he landed a part in ‘Waterloo Road’.
His credits also include Sky sitcom ‘Mount Pleasant’ and ‘Casualty’.
George isn’t the only familiar face joining ‘Emmerdale’ in the coming months, as ‘Corrie’ star Jonathan Wrather has also landed a role.
Jonathan is set to play Tess’s husband, Pierce Harris, and his arrival is sure to cause havoc for his wife and Paddy Kirk.
