Drug-Dealers Found With 999 Grams Of Cocaine In Car Boot

Drug-dealers stopped on the motorway had a solid block of cocaine weighing 999 grams hidden in their car.

Albanian nationals Bekim Domi and Shkelqim Dardha were at the M6's Corley Services in the Midlands en route to London when traffic officers stopped the pair.

West Midlands Police said that a search of the duo's car uncovered a concealed £120,000 "slab" of class A drugs along with two bricks of cannabis resin, hidden in the boot of their Mercedes E-Class.

Domi, aged 25, of Acton, and Dardha, also 25, of Brent Cross admitted possession of drugs with intent to supply at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday.

Both men, who in interview blamed one another for the drugs, were jailed for four years and eight months each.

Officers also seized the men's car following the search on January 28.

Detective Constable Chris Smith said: "999 has proved the downfall for countless crooks and it certainly proved unlucky for this pair."
