A former police chief will stand trial in the autumn charged with historic sexual offences on boys.
Gordon Anglesea, from Old Colwyn in North Wales, is accused of a range of offences including sexual assault and buggery.
The charges relate to the alleged abuse of boys in the 1970s and 1980s.
Anglesea, 78, retired as a superintendent with North Wales police in 1991.
He was arrested by officers from Operation Pallial - an independent investigation into past sexual abuse in the care system in the area - in December 2013.
The trial was due to take place at Mold Crown Court, but was moved to the Old Bailey following a hearing before trial judge Mrs Justice McGowan.
The case is due to go on for six weeks.
The defendant, who is on bail, was not required to attend the hearing at the Old Bailey.
A further hearing is expected to take place on May 23.
