The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will spend the day in Liverpool with a series of engagements in the city.
The royal visitors will attend the International Festival for Business and officially open Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the hotel Pullman Liverpool at Monarch's Quay on the waterfront.
At the exhibition centre, the royal party will take their seats to hear a performance by the Pagoda Chinese Orchestra.
The International Festival for Business 2016 - IFB2016 - aims to showcase the best of UK business to the world and encourage international trade.
The biggest festival of its kind in the world this year, IFB2016 hosts 30,000 delegates from 100 countries.
The Queen and Prince Philip will later lunch at Liverpool's magnificent Georgian Town Hall, where they will view the crowds from the building's balcony before departing to visit Alder Hey Children's Hospital - where they will meet staff and patients.
