The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will continue their tour of the Middle East in Dubai and Bahrain today.

They will first visit the International Humanitarian City (IHC), where warehouses used by humanitarian organisations are located.

Doors to some of the warehouses will be open to allow Charles and Camilla see the scale of operations.

They will meet frontline aid workers from charities and private sector companies as they tour the site.

The IHC is within eight hours by air of two-thirds of the world's population and has delivered assistance in some of the worst humanitarian crises of the past decade.

These include the 2004 tsunami in south-east Asia, the recurring drought in the Horn of Africa, the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the crisis in Syria.

Charles will then join young people at Dubai's Expo 2020 bureau, which is under construction.

Dubai won the bid to host Expo 2020 and it is expected to bring 25 million visitors and billions of dollars of economic benefits to the country in the next five years.

Camilla will visit Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital, the first dedicated children's hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

It supports women both at the hospital and outside it and received more than 3,000 calls last year.

Camilla will meet children aged between five months and 10 years who have been victims of violence and will listen in on a call in the call centre.

Since 2009, she has worked to raise awareness of the issues facing those affected by sexual violence and domestic abuse.

Charles will attend events in Sharjah to learn about the regional efforts to protect cultural heritage.

The couple will then depart the UAE for Bahrain, where they will be welcomed by His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Bahrain and Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

The King of Bahrain will receive Charles and Camilla for a private audience. They will later attend a royal banquet hosted by the King.
