Fairy-tales, myths and legends are throughout the garden, where your own chivalrous knights and courageous princesses will hunt for clues. Bertie Bunny Easter Egg Hunt (02 of10)

Bertie Bunny has hidden eggs across the length of the railway track from Ongar to Coopersale, which is the length of 131,579 eggs placed end to end. Children who find the eggs hidden by Bertie and complete their egg sheet will be rewarded with a prize, a face painter will be on hand to turn them into little chicks and bunnies (additional charges apply) and The Bunny Hop disco will keep them bopping through the afternoon.

Follow the giant Easter yellow duckling trail around the beautiful nature reserve. If you find them all, you'll win a Cadbury's Freddo Frog. Plus, you can join in Easter arts and crafts sessions and make your own LEGO brick duckling to build and take home. Then take the time to explore the centre and spot the springtime arrivals - babies, bugs and buds - from the wildlife hides and observatory.

Egg-rolling is a long-standing Easter tradition that takes place all over the world, but Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh is a particularly popular spot for this egg-citing event. Bring your hard boiled and decorated eggs to roll down the steep hillside of this extinct volcano and enjoy the epic vistas over Edinburgh and the surrounding countryside.
