Apple is doubling down on video content with a new TV app for Apple TV, CEO Tim Cook announced today.

At a “special event” at the Apple Campus, Cook described the service as “one place” to watch all your digital TV content.

The free TV app draws together content from across a user’s apps, including HBO Now, Amazon Prime and Netflix, and allows users to pick up shows on their iPhone or iPad. The app also lets users tune into live channels.

It will be available in the US before the end of the year.
