Canadian Astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield, Sings 'Danny Boy' For St Patrick's Day Onboard ISS

People all around the world celebrating St Patrick's Day on Sunday - and one person had a better view than most.

Canadian astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield, is currently on the International Space Station (ISS) and has become somewhat of a Twitter sensation by regularly tweeting some spectacular pictures.

Cmdr. Hadfield is working on the first ever album recorded in space

On Sunday he went one better and recorded a version of 'Danny Boy', the ballad traditionally set to the Irish tune, 'Londonderry Air', in honour of St Patrick's Day.

He also managed to fire off an arial view of the Emerald Isle itself as the ISS flew over.
