Cherie Blair Calls For Reforms To Help Mums Return To Work

Mum-of-four Cherie Booth has called for government to help mums back into work with 'returnship' style training.

Writing in an essay, Four Children at Thirty, the barrister said that 'all women should have the chance to have a family and a career'.

Ms Booth, who is the wife of former Prime Minister Tony Blair, says that society must help enable mums to fulfill both their roles at home and at work.

She wrote:

'Life has changed beyond recognition for families over the last 30 years. One of the places of greatest change has been the workplace. Thirty years ago, little more than half of women worked; now 80 of women and men use at least one form of flexible working, and in 25VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
