Dustin Ellermann, a competitive shooter, has found an interesting way to cook breakfast - by firing off a few hundred rounds per minute.

All you need to do it wrap a slice of bacon around the suppressor of your automatic assault rifle and cover it in tin foil, like he does in this video.

Unloading two full clips on automatic fire, Ellermann unleashes the full fury of his M16 on the cured pork and takes off the foil to reveal a surprisingly well-cooked rasher of bacon.

As well as being a competitive shooter and winner of the History Channel's 'Top Shot' marksman competition, Ellermann is also the director of Christian kids' camp 'His Way' in Texas.
