There's always one isn't there -- thatFacebook friend who deserves not only to be defriended but to be banned from the internet for life. And a computer for that matter.

Perhaps they post too many pictures of their new baby, or house, or holiday, or dog. Maybe they are serial status updaters who moan about their job, or boyfriend, or neighbour.

Whatever the offence, take a leaf out of HuffPost UK Lifestyle's book and cull them. Cull them and then revel in a neater news feed, full of people you like, who do things you care about.

Bliss.

A survey of 820 Facebook members by discount shopping site PromotionalCodes.org.uk found the most common reasons for defriending someone on the social networking site.

From bragging to inappropriate images, there are tons of Facebook offences that push our buttons.
