If you're looking for a holiday that won't break the bank, it doesn't get much better than Phapos in Cyprus. Located on the western side of Cyprus, Paphos is a small harbour town nestled in Troodos Mountains. The town has plenty of open air restaurants that serve the catch of the day, and there are dozens of water sports to be enjoyed when you're not soaking up the sun. For a great day out, stroll around the ruins at Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, take the kids to Super Aphrodite Waterpark, or visit the peaceful Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. The weather may be hot but so are the prices for self-catering holiday apartments in Phapos.

The Caribbean island of Antigua is home to some of the world's most spectacular beaches. With its soft white sandy palm-fringed beaches and azure water it ticks all the boxes for a fabulous summer holiday, it's no wonder celebrities like Oprah, Giorgio Armani and Eric Clapton have homes on the island. The peace and tranquillity of the surroundings is nicely balanced by the energetic island culture.
