Holly Willoughby has called into This Morning to give viewers an update on the birth of her baby son Chester.

Just a day after giving birth to her third child with husband Dan Baldwin, Holly phoned in for a chat with her co-presenter Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden, who is covering her maternity leave from the show.

"I'm really good and really happy," she said.

"I started having contractions about nine in the morning and they kind of lasted all day. He arrived about 7.20pm.

"It was very different from the other two. [Holly is also mum to Harry, five and Belle, three.]

"I had a water birth, which I've never thought of doing. That was amazing. He was a really big boy - 8lb 12oz!

"He's so delicious. I can't stop looking at him. He is perfect."

Phillip then asked Holly about her choice of name.

Holly replied: "He's called Chester William Baldwin. It's the name we were thinking about for ages. When we had Harry we were thinking about it.

"The kids have just come in to meet their little brother today. I said his name is Chester, and he said, 'No, I want to call him Frank!'"

Phillip and Amanda then asked the happy mum if she'll be tuning in to see how they're getting on while she's on maternity leave.

Holly replied: "I will be watching, I've got nothing else to do!"
