A woman who feared she would never have children has had identical triplets – beating odds of 1 in 100 million.

Annabelle Williams, 24, from Cardiff, was desperate to be a mum but suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last June.

So she was stunned when doctors told her she was expecting - not one but three babies.

Identical boys Jax, Jesse-James and Joey came from the same egg and shared the same placenta in the womb.

Experts have told Annabelle and her husband James the odds of producing identical triplets without fertility drugs is 1 in 100 million.

The new mum and dad have their hands full caring for the babies - who get through 18 bottles of milk and 25 nappies every day.

James, 24, has given up his BMW for a seven-seater Renault Scenic to carry his sons, now six months old.

The new parents say they are constantly exhausted but feel blessed to have given birth to three 'perfect healthy little boys'.

Annabelle was heartbroken when she lost her daughter four months into her pregnancy last June because of a birth defect.

She went for fertility tests fearing the worst - but they came back positive and doctors told her she could keep trying for a child.

Just two months later Annabelle was pregnant again and scan revealed she was expecting three identical triplets.

He said: "It's wonderful to have them home but of course we are overwhelmed. Its non-stop bottles and nappies every hour of the day for us."
