Jennifer Ellison has revealed how she lost two stone in just over two months by eating just 800 calories a day.

The 30-year-old actress, who is mum to baby Harry and Bobby, three, was desperate to lose her baby weight after cruel jibes on Twitter.

She even made her boxer husband Robbie Tickle photograph her in underwear to inspire her to diet.

The pictures were taken when Jen was 12st 3lb and just two months later she has achieved her target weight of 10st 7lbs and dropped two dress sizes.

The former Brookside actress has now posed in a black dress with a tape measure revealing just how much she's slimmed down around her waist.

In another shot she wears skinny black jeans and a top that shows off her arms.

Jen, 30, achieved her goal after going on the Cambridge Diet plan, on which you're allowed to eat just 800 calories a day. She denies she got in shape to make money, telling followers she had no intentions of making a weight-loss DVD.

The actress's personal weight loss consultant, Bev Crawford, said: "Jen is thrilled to finally be at a healthy weight. When I first weighed her, she was about 12 stone, but within a week, she'd gone up to 12st 7lb because she had been filming Come Dine With Me.

"It was a nightmare start to a weight loss plan - but she was so dedicated and focused, she had lost the extra weight within the first week.

"She just wanted to be healthy and run around with her kids, and I know that Robbie and her family are really proud of her weight loss.

"She did the first week where she just had shakes and soups, to kick start her weight loss - and then went up to a plan where she ate 800 calories a day.

"We had to make sure that she was having enough food to keep her functioning while she was in panto (Snow White.)

"After about a month, she called me to say the wardrobe department had taken her costume in by six inches

"I'm really proud of how hard she's worked - and she looks fabulous."

In November the ex-Dancing-on-Ice star denied she felt pressured into slimming down by online bullies who criticised her figure just weeks after she gave birth to Harry.

She said: "I did get upset about comments about my weight, but now I don't care what people say.

"I want to make sure I am healthy, but my family comes first, not being a size eight. "I'm not one of those mums who just snaps back into shape straight after having a baby.

"It's not in my genes. I have to work hard to lose the weight, and I'm doing it when it suits me.

"I just wanted a diet that was going to give me results quickly that would fit in with my lifestyle."
