Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is engaged to be married - again!
After suffering years of tabloid rumours about romantic woes (most recently when her ex-husband Nick Lachey announce his engagement) Simpson is no doubt enjoying the positive attention.
The singer's boyfriend of five months, American football player Eric Johnson, reportedly proposed last Thursday with a three stone, 4-carat ring by jeweller Neil Lane worth an estimated $100,000 (about £62,000). The centre piece of the ring is a large ruby set in yellow gold, giving the vintage ring a unique look.
Her new engagement ring is a far cry from the very traditional pear-shaped rock she received from Lachey but we think it suits her. At 30-years-old Simpson seems much more sure of herself than she did when she said 'I do' Lachey at 22.
